Stop the Corporate Climate Criminals
Take action against the corporate climate criminals of the world!
The oil mayor Chevron left behind more than a thousand toxic ponds and polluted rivers in the Amazon. More than 30,000 people – indigenous people and small farmers – continue to demand justice for the deaths, illnesses and destruction of their territories. After decades of litigation, the company continues to evade responsibility and has become a global symbol of corporate impunity.
This end of month corporate impunity is on the agenda at the Transitioning away from Fossil Fuels conference – this could be the beginning of the end of the destructive ISDS-system that creates a systemic barrier to a just transition and protects corporate criminals.
Civil society all over the world stand together to demand corporate accountability, peoples’ sovereignty and climate justice – some meet at the Fossil Free Rising peoples’ summit and some meet at decentralised actions.
Come and:
- Get an insight of the problem – cases of corporate climate criminals
- Hear about peoples’ solutions – stop the ISDS-system, need for a Binding Treaty on Business and Human Rights
- Send letter to support the peoples of the Amazons’ struggle for justice against Chevron
- Posterstorm the city to pressure the corporate climate criminals
